To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

I would like to obtain any and all records that detail the number of lawsuits that have been filed against the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission due to alleged delays in processing Whistleblower Awards.

If there is not a record available with this number, please endeavour to provide similar information, including but not limited to:

1.) The annual number of lawsuits against the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission;
2.) The number of writ of mandamus claims against the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission;
3.) Scans/copies of all writ of mandamus claims that have been filed against the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission since the start of the Whistleblower Program.
4.) Any other documents that would shed light on the number of times the SEC has been sued for alleged delays in processing Whistleblower Awards and the time spend by SEC staff to respond to these claims.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

Sincerely,

Taylor Amarel Scott
