In order for OPM to process the below request, you need to provide additional information.

The U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) has no record of receiving a November 26, 2019 request from you.

However, the below request appears to be a duplicate of a request which someone with your name, i.e., James Wright, sent to OPM, on October 22, 2019, requesting the same records. However, the October 22, 2019 request originated from a different email address.

In order for OPM to process the below request, you need to confirm that the October 22, 2019 request, which is identical to the below request, and from James Wright, was not, in fact, from you.

Once OPM has received this additional information, OPM can begin processing your request.

If, on the other hand, the October 22, 2019 request was, in fact, from you, please let this office know and this office will respond accordingly.

Unfortunately, the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA; 5 USC 552, as amended), does not allow for multiple submissions of the same request from the same person.

Therefore, you need to contact the OPM FOIA Team Specialist named in the notification which FOIA Intake sent to you, on November 1, 2019, in order to determine the status of your request and/or to ask for an estimated date of completion. In other words, FOIA Intake has no say over how OPM's requests are handled once they have been assigned to one of the OPM FOIA Team Specialists.
