To Whom It May Concern:

This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:

All documents, photographs, and any other archived materials referenced by the attached topic guide, including the 167 pages of majestic 12 documents, as well as any other supplementary or referenced documents.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

As I am both a college student at Hampshire College, as well as an online freelance journalist/archivist through muckrock.com, archive.org, and twitch.tv, I request that all fees be waived under the public interest fee waiver, given I have no commercial stake in the contents of these documents, only intenting to spread the information to further the public understanding of government opertations.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

Sincerely,

James Lawrence

Thank you so much for your prompt acknowledgement! So by my estimation the total fees for these pages will amount to about $133.60. I'll agree to fund that, I've already started a crowdfunded page through Muckrock, but since I'm so very interested myself and somewhat impatient, if the total isn't reached within a week or so I'll pay the full sum myself by Visa card. I would be most appreciative if you would begin copying and digitizing pages as soon as possible (and I pray that there aren't too many exemptions, for all the good that will do me).

Again, thank you for finding these documents so promptly and I look forward to looking them over.

Hi James,

It would be much easier to reach me by email. In reviewing our past email
conversations, I see that you were raising the money for these copies
through crowd sourcing. Have you reached your goal and would now like to
begin the copy order?

Sincerely,

Shelly Williams
