Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

Any memorandum or other documents relating to President Trump's January 21,2020 memorandum to the Secretary of Commerce entitled "Excluding Illegal Aliens From the Apportionment
Base Following the 2020 Census." Or any other documents concerning the scope or legality of any policy providing that undocumented immigrants will not be counted in determining apportionment of U.S. House representatives following a decennial census.

In order to help to determine my status to assess fees, you should know that I am a representative of the news media affiliated with Vox Media and the news website Vox.com, and this request is made as part of news gathering and not for a commercial use.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
