This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:

A copy of the NSA study done in 1989 of public key cryptography at the request of National Institute of Standards and Technology.

For aid searching for this material, it is referenced in the Memorandum for the Record of Fifteenth Meeting of the NIST/NSA Technical Working Group, created on Mar. 26, 1990.

Please task this request to any departments that would likely interact with NIST on cryptographic standards.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
