R. M. Seibert filed this request with the National Personnel Records Center of the United States of America.

It is a clone of this request.

From: R. M. Seibert

To Whom It May Concern:

This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:

A copy of all releasable documents from the Official Personnel File (OPF) of George Meade Emory, Esq. (aka Meade Emory; February 26, 1931 - October 08, 2010), Social Security No. 535-26-6633. Proof of Death:

I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as I believe this request is in the public interest due to Mr. Emory's career included staff work for the Congressional Joint Committee on Internal Revenue Taxation, and a position as an Assistant to the Commissioner of the IRS. Later in life, he went on to take a position as a tax consultant for the Church of Scientology's executive branches then co-founded one of their highest level corporations. These roles have led to allegations that Mr. Emory assistance played an influential role in Scientology being granted their controversial tax exempt status. That status is still garnering widespread media attention and generating public outrage to this day. For examples, please see:

Forbes Magazine:
Los Angeles Times:
We The People White House Petition:

Additionally, the requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at, and is not being made for commercial usage.

In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.
