Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

All files (including, but not limited to, medical records and photographs) relating to retired Marine Corps Colonel James R. Christensen. He was a Marine pilot during World War II and served with the commander-in-chief of the Atlantic fleet as director of joint operations in the early to mid-1960s. Col. Christensen died on January 26, 1966. The lawsuit his widow filed against the CIA was widely reported in the media at the time.

This request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

I'd like to provide supplementary information for request #2-21475295137 (records related to Col. James R. Christensen). Col. Christensen was born on 14 July 1916 in Utah and died on 26 January 1966 in Virginia. He served in the Marine Corps from approximately 1940 until his retirement on 30 June 1965. He last served as the director of joint operations for the Atlantic Fleet. His Social Security number is 528-09-7700.
