I am writing specifically to ask that you kindly reconsider the fee category that your office has determined for my request. While I make this request as a concerned citizen and law-abiding member of my community, in the interests of informing my community and society at large--via the process of public enquiry on a public website, as stated in my request--I also make this request as a writer, an independent journalist, and a concerned citizen blogger on current issues, especially pertaining to government oversight.

More websites to publicly analyse and discuss issues related to current-day covert COINTELPRO activities by Intelligence agencies and DHS, NSA overreach of surveillance/invasion of privacy, erosion of civil liberties, and bio-behavioral research on human subjects without Informed Consent are forthcoming. These are (and are intended to be) public websites and informational websites. I also aim to write and widely publish through various news forums and media my investigations and research into the nature of current-day surveillance, community co-opting, fusion center activities, human subject protections, and 21st-century technology research and use.

My FOIA request, while arising out of distinct concern for my own standing in my community, a very justifiable concern given recent activities in my community, hopes also to address the legitimate concerns of others today--particularly peace/justice/environmental activists, writers, and independent journalists like myself-- in my community and in society at large, regarding fraudulent targeting, surveillance, and investigations by Intelligence agencies under bogus and fraudulent charges of wrongdoing/"extremism"/"potential terrorism"/"potential violence"/"potential crime," etc., fraudulent character assassination, and fraudulent co-opting of communities into surveillance and harassment activities against scapegoated individuals through fraudulent mention or use of community crime-prevention, behavior-modification, and neurological-modification programs.

All information obtained through this FOIA request is intended for public disclosure, analysis, and distribution, both via Muckrock and via the means and media described above; I am a writer being wrongfully targeted, and as a writer, journalist, and activist with a keen interest in transparency and accountability of government, I aim to make public all aspects of this matter.
