To Whom It May Concern:
This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:
I am requesting documents relating to press accreditation for NASA Watch and Keith Cowing. I am requesting any and all memos and correspondence sent within the NASA media/press office or Office of Public Affairs, as well as any correspondence sent between the media/PR office or Office of Public Affairs and NASA Watch or Keith Cowing relating to press accreditation requests made by NASA Watch or Keith Cowing to attend the launch of the Mars Pathfinder spacecraft in June 1997; an emailed request for press credentials in July 1999; and the approved accreditation request for NASA Watch or Keith Cowing.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes. The documents will be used in the course of reporting for Motherboard, VICE Media's science and tech site (www.motherboard.vice.com).
In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request, and I request that this be processed under the "media" fee category. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.
