Dear JPat Brown,

Thank you for submitting the attached FOIA request.

We need your help in narrowing the scope of your FOIA request, as we launch
our search for responsive documents.

You requested the following: All communications (emails, text messages,
etcs) between NARA staff and the Nixon Library, for the week of May
8th-12th, 2017.

Because we have thousands of employees, which NARA staff are you referring?
Likewise, are there specific staff at the Nixon Library you are referring
to as well?

This information would be very helpful in narrowing your request and
speeding up the process of gathering responsive documents.

Thank you,

From: JPat Brown

Hello!
Thanks so much for reaching out - I'm mainly interested in the communications with the social media manager and their supervisors - I apologize for my naivete, I just thought that the number of communications between NARA and the Nixon Library would be rather limited.
All the best,
JPat

RE: NARA-NGC-2017-000583 NGC17-390

Dear JP Brown,

Your case was assigned *FOIAonline* tracking number NARA-NGC-2017-000583
and internal tracking number NGC17-390. Your case is currently 81 in our
queue. For many of our complex cases that take more than 20 days to
process, responsive documents have been referred to other federal agencies
for consultation. As we await responses on those cases, we are able to
process cases that are numerically higher in our queue that are not
awaiting outside consultation, or for which consultations have already been
completed. Accordingly, it is possible that your case may be processed
sooner than cases lower than yours in the queue.

Thank you,

Dear JPat Brown,

Thank you for contacting our offices, and we apologize for the delay in
processing your request. We hope to get to it soon as process cases ahead
of your case. No further clarification is required regarding your request.

Your case was assigned *FOIAonline* tracking number NARA-NGC-2017-000583 and
internal tracking number NGC17-390. Your case is currently 73 in our queue.

For many of our complex cases that take more than 20 days to process,
responsive documents have been referred to other federal agencies
for consultation.

As we await responses on those cases, we are able to process cases that are
numerically higher in our queue that are not awaiting outside consultation,
or for which consultations have already been
completed. Accordingly, it is possible that your case may be processed sooner
than cases lower than yours in the queue. Please feel free to contact me
directly by phone, if you have further questions or would like to discuss.

processing your request. We hope to get to it soon as process cases ahead
of your case. No further clarification is required regarding your request.
Your case was assigned *FOIAonline* tracking number NARA-NGC-2017-000583
and the Office of General Counsel's
internal tracking number NGC17-390.

Your case is currently 69 in our queue.

For many of our complex cases that take more than 20 days to process,
responsive documents have been referred to other federal agencies
for consultation. As we await responses on those cases, we are able to
process cases that are
numerically higher in our queue that are not awaiting outside consultation,
or for which consultations have already been completed. Accordingly, it is
possible that your case may be processed sooner
than cases lower than yours in the queue. Please feel free to contact me
directly by phone, if you have further questions or would like to discuss.

processing your request. We hope to get to it soon as process cases ahead
of your case. No further clarification is required regarding your request.

Thank you
