Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

A PDF printout of information resulting from a query to the NADDIS pointer index of the Investigative Reporting and Filing System (IRFS) for information pertaining to the late Earl Simmons, more commonly known under his pen name DMX.

To assist in the query, please note the following identifiers:

Name: Earl Simmons
Alias: DMX
Date of Birth: December 18, 1970
First 5 digits of SSN: 108-58
Bureau of Prisons Register Number: 76031-054

An attached obituary shall serve as proof of Simmons having passed away in 2021; as such, privacy interests recognized under exemptions to FOIA as well as the Privacy Act are diminished and records should be released in the public interest.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
