Dear Mr. Schiano:

Thank you for contacting the USDA-Forest Service, Freedom of Information Service Center with your Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request which was dated May 14, 2018. Your request was received in this office (Southern Region) on May 16, 2018. Your request has been assigned tracking #2018-FS-R8-04075-F.

You are requesting the following:

* Any and all records which fall under the "cost-recovery or other payment agreements" referred to in the section of the Forest Service "Mountain Valley Pipeline Frequently Asked Questions" section.

EXTENSION
Consistent with 7 C.F.R. § 1.8(d) of the USDA FOIA regulations, the Forest Service processes FOIA requests according to their order of receipt. Due to an increasing number of FOIA requests received by this office, we may encounter some delay in processing your request. Although the Forest Service's goal is to respond within 20 business days of receipt of your request, the FOIA does permit a 10-day extension of this time period in certain circumstances. As your request will require a thorough and wide-ranging search for records involving separate offices, the Forest Service will invoke a 10-day extension for your request pursuant to 5 U.S.C. § 552(a)(6)(B). We will make every effort to comply with your request in a timely manner.

If you have any questions about your request, feel free to contact me anytime at the number and email listed below.

Sincerely,
Douglas Meloche
