Good afternoon Mr. Shane,

The FOIA Office is in receipt of your request (copy attached), seeking information regarding Mr. Michele Sindona, from May 8, 1920 through August 19, 2020. As you may be aware, the SEC has transitioned to a full telework posture because of the Covid-19 outbreak and is scheduled to remain on this schedule until December 2020. Due to this pandemic, we are experiencing an ongoing, temporary impact to some of our normal operations, including processing exhibits for which confidential treatment expired on or after March 5, 2020, reviewing records on microfiche, and obtaining paper records from Federal Records Centers. As such, I am reaching out to you to determine if you are willing to allow our office to close the above-referenced request number and remove it from our caseload. You may resubmit the FOIA request to our office once the mandatory telework directive is cancelled and the SEC resumes normal business operations. Please let me know how you wish to proceed at your earliest convenience. If I do not receive a response from you by Wednesday, September 16, 2020, I will assume you concur with our proposal to close the request and will remove it from our pending caseload without further notice to you.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Thank you,
