To Whom It May Concern:

This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:

A list of memorandums sent between June 1 through today's date, the date which this request is received by your office.

I don't need the actual content, just the metadata. I define the metadata as:

* The subject
* The purpose of the memo
* Who it was sent from
* Who it was sent to.

Please include any processing notes created in the processing of this request.

I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as I believe this request is in the public interest. The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, processed by a representative of the news media/press and is made in the process of news gathering and not for commercial usage.

In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

Sincerely,

Jason Gulledge

From: Jason Gulledge

Just to further clarify, and to try to limit the burden on you to fulfill this request, I would only like memos sent to your offices, addressed to the Attorney General or the deputy Attorneys General.

I also missed a metadata point. I also need the date it was received by your office, or the date it was sent (whichever you have, or whatever is easiest).

Thank you,
Jason Gulledge

Arnetta,

Thank you for your help with my request. I would like to amend this request to narrow it down in one of two ways, and I give you and your office the discretion in choosing which method you'd like to use to search. I'd like either memos sent to John P. Carlin, or memos containing John P. Carlin's name either in the to:, from:, cc:, or the body of the memo.

Respectfully submitted,

Jason Gulledge
