Medicaid Estate Recovery Program - 2018-2021 (Individuals, U.S.)

To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

- The total number of individual long-term care recipients in all U.S. states from whom estates were recovered under the Medicaid Estate Recovery Program between January 1, 2021 and November 1, 2021.

- The total number of individual long-term care recipients in all U.S. states from whom estates were recovered under the Medicaid Estate Recovery Program between January 1, 2020 and December 31, 2020.

- The total number of individual long-term care recipients in all U.S. states from whom estates were recovered under the Medicaid Estate Recovery Program between January 1, 2019 and December 31, 2019.

- The total number of individual long-term care recipients in all U.S. states from whom estates were recovered under the Medicaid Estate Recovery Program between January 1, 2018 and December 31, 2018.

Please aggregate each annual dataset by state, as well as by month if possible. If monthly aggregation is not possible, annual numbers for each state will suffice.

The requested information will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
