This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:

All contracts with MBAssociates, a California corporation located in San Ramon, California.

Responsive documents are likely dated between 1961 (when MBAssociates was formed) and 1980. MBAssociates developed and manufactured unique firearms with small rockets as ammunition under the "Gyrojet" brand.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

Thank you for the response. Unfortunately, I do not have much information to go on to know which installation or unit is most likely, so I would appreciate any suggestions. Documents would fall into two main categories:

1. Procurement of the A/P25S-5A flare gun from MBAssociates, which was issued in AF survival kits around 1970 (see The MBAssociates model number may be "MBA-2016 FSN 1370- 490-7362".

2. Other R&D work done on contract
