This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:

All materials related to Mary Pinchot Meyer (October 14, 1920 – October 12, 1964). Meyer was a painter who married CIA official Cord Meyer and was later romantically tied to President John F. Kennedy. Her murder was investigated by the FBI, according to Peter Janney's book "Mary's Mosaic."

Please conduct a search of the Central Records System, including but not limited to the Electronic Surveillance (ELSUR) Indices, the Microphone Surveillance (MISUR) Indices, the Physical Surveillance (FISUR) Indices, and the Technical Surveillance (TESUR) Indices, for both main-file records and cross-reference records.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

I am appealing the integrity of the search. Mary Pinchot Meyer is present on the FBI's RIDs "Dead List," indicating the existence of a file. She is also mentioned in FBI File 62-80750-4255. Her murder, for which Ray Crump, Jr was accused, was reportedly investigated by the FBI. It has also been reported that her involvement in the American Labor Party was noted by the Bureau. I request that another search be conducted, including of the indices specified in my original request.
