This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:

I am requesting information or records on Mary Elizabeth McHughes Ferrell, commonly known as Mary Ferrell. She was born Oct. 26, 1922 in Memphis, TN and died Feb. 20, 2004, in Dallas, Texas. Her Social Security number was 408-22-2876. Her last known address was 4406 Holland Ave. in Dallas. Her obituary was published in The Dallas Morning News from Feb. 23 to Feb. 24, 2004. (Please see the attached obituary in The Dallas Morning News.)

Specifically, I am requesting information or records indicating whether Mary Elizabeth McHughes Ferrell had ever been a CIA employee or had any other type of affiliation with the CIA, including informant. This would include standard personnel or contractor files and agreements with Mary Elizabeth McHughes Ferrell, commonly known as Mary Ferrell.

I am also requesting information or records of communications between Mary Elizabeth McHughes Ferrell and the CIA, including but not limited to FOIA records requests that Mary Elizabeth McHughes Ferrell made to the CIA. Please search the CIA FOIA logs for FOIA requests made by Ferrell between Jan. 1, 1966 and Feb. 20, 2004,
I am also requesting information or records of any reports or other documents generated by the CIA about Mary Elizabeth McHughes Ferrell.

Please notify me first if the processing fee exceeds $50. If you deny all or any part of this request, please cite each specific exemption you believe justifies your refusal to release the information I am requesting and notify me of appeal procedures available to me under law.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
