Lukas Knight,

USDA has received your FOIA request below. The FOIA Service Center needs clarification, specifically whether you are seeking records relating to the National Residue Program Data (Red Book) collected by FSIS from beef tissue samples and any contingency plan stemming from that?

Thanks very much.

Christine Jordan
FOIA Service Center

From: Lukas Knight

Yes, that is correct. In the event that mad cow disease is found to be in the beef tissue samples of American cattle, what sort of a response is planned by the agency. Any documents pertaining to this would satisfy my request. Thank you.
