To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

Transcripts and/or audio files of interviews, testimony and exit conferences created during the Department of Justice investigation into the Massachusetts Department of Corrections. According to the investigation report published by this office on November 17, 2020, these interviews were primarily conducted between April and November in 2019. Additionally, I am requesting any notes and memos created during site visits conducted during the same time period.

Please note I am making this request in the public interest and am not seeking any identifiable personal information of interview subjects. If any such information is present in responsive documents, I am open and amendable to appropriate redactions as long as the corresponding FOIA exemption(s) are cited. In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
