This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:

All files pertaining to Larry Wu-tai Chin (1922 – February 22, 1986), a former State Department translator and CIA employee who was convicted of espionage and later committed suicide in his jail cell. See, for example: http://www.nytimes.com/1986/02/22/us/spy-for-china-found-suffocated-in-prison-apparently-a-suicide.html

The requested documents will be processed by a journalist and made available to the general public. This request is not being made for commercial purposes. Please note that I would like any press clippings or media reproductions to be excluded from the search.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
