Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
I am requesting an incident report regarding the injury of Kiernan Wimmer in Al Anbar, Iraq on or around November 14, 2006. Kiernan Wimmer was a member of 1st Reconnaissance Battalion deployed to Al Anbar, Iraq, and was injured on a live fire range preparing for combat operations. I am requesting the details of the incident, as well as who was held responsible. Additionally, I am requesting the details regarding punitive actions taken against those who were determined to be at fault.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

Mr. Wimmer -- I see that you have more than one request in FOIAonline, but
the one to 1st MARDIV looks as though it's closed. I am adding Sgt Pastrana
to the cc line because FOIAonline shows that he was the individual who
closed it. I strongly recommend that you put any future requests directly
into FOIAonline (www.foiaonline.gov) and create an account (there is no
