Dear Mr. Otto:

I am writing on behalf of the Justice Management Division (JMD) of the
U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) to acknowledge receipt of your Freedom
of Information (FOIA) request on 03/10/2016.

For your information, the Justice Management Division assigns incoming

response in approximately one month whereas complex requests
necessarily take longer. At this time, your request has been assigned
to the Complex track.

If you have a question about the status of your FOIA request, you may

<mailto:JMDFOIA@usdoj.gov> or by calling 202-514-3101 during regular

We acknowledged your request and assigned JMD FOIA Tracking Number of 105400 via e-mail.

Mr. Otto:

Please accept my apology for not getting back to you in a timely manner and missing the call windows you provided to us. We still would like to talk to you regarding your FOIA request and would like to attempt one more time to establish a contact date and time. I assume that the phone number you have provided is still a valid number. We are suggesting a conference call that will include two other people. I have contacted the people who will be a part of that call and they have recommended three possible dates and one time frame for that call. They are:

Time: 2-5 PM on one of the 4 dates below
Dates: Tomorrow - March 2,

In order to insure that we will be able to set a date and time to contact you, I am sending this response from my personal e-mail address and also copying the two people who will be a part of the conference call to you.

Again, I apologize for the delay and we look forward to hearing from you by return e-mail.
