This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:
All records on, about, mentioning, or concerning James B Taylor who lived in Virginia during 1845.
I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as I believe this request is in the public interest. The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, processed by a representative of the news media/press and is made in the process of news gathering and not for commercial usage.
In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

I do not have a date of birth. I have a first name, middle initial and last name. If you are not able to identify the individual with the information I provided, please amend my request to records on ALL individuals for which you have records who meet the criteria which I provided: "James B Taylor who lived in Virginia during 1845."
If you must search by birth dates, please search for all people born between 1775 and 1830 who have the name James B Taylor.
Proof of death is not required because of the age of the subject. Even if he was just born in 1845, there would be a presumption of death based on age. However, it is likely that he was older in 1845.
