Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
Copies of all documents or FBI files pertaining to philosopher and professor Jacques Derrida, who died in 2004. (His obituary was published in the New York Times and is available here: https://www.nytimes.com/2004/10/10/obituaries/jacques-derrida-abstruse-theorist-dies-at-74.html)
Please include cross-references and results of a search of ELSUR (Electronic Surveillance) records.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
