To Whom It May Concern:
This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:
Any and all issue papers delivered to the President-elect's transition team Wednesday, December 21, 2016 or Thursday, December 22, 2016 outlining existing activities to promote gender equality, such as ending gender-based violence or promoting women's participation in economic and political spheres. The papers may not positions whose primary functions are to promote such issues, as well as identify FY2017 funds already allocated to such programs and activities.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.
Sincerely,

Mr. Lawrence - This is in response to your April 5, 2017 fax. Would you please refax your FOIA request to 202 261-8579 with the subject "FOIA Request" and not "Follow-up on the following Freedom of Information Act Request". FOIA Request has stated that they are not in receipt of your January 13, 2017 FOIA request, and ask that you file the request again by fax to: 202 261-8579.
If you continue to send in your FOIA request as a follow-up request, it will come to FOIA Status and not FOIA Request for action.
To restate, you should refax your FOIA request dated January 13, 2017 to "FOIA Request" at 202 261-8579, as a new FOIA request. You may also mail the January 13, 2017 FOIA request to: US Department of State, Office of Information and Programs and Service, Requester Communication Branch, 515 22nd Street, NW, SA-02, Room 8100, Washington, DC 20522.
Please do not fax a follow-up FOIA request to 202 261-8579.
Sincerely,
Katrina Wood
