Intellipedia Index (NSA)

To Whom It May Concern:

This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:

An index of the topics/pages contained in the three wikis that make up the Intellipedia database.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

I am appealing this decision on the grounds that I was never informed of any time limit to respond nor indeed was I given any request at all to respond to any communication from your office.

The last communication I have from your office regarding this matter was a letter acknowledging the receipt of my FOIA request. Since then I have had no communications with or from the NSA FOIA office.

I am appealing this decision based on the fact that I have received no such communication from your office and was never given an opportunity to respond to your request for action.

As I previously pointed out, all correspondence between myself and your office that I have received can be found here

And there is no correspondence from your office dated 6 March.

I received a letter on 24 January that acknowledged my request and stated that until further processing had been completed you were unable to assess fees.

I received a second letter on 30 May informing me that my case was being closed due to a lack of response.

I received no communications whatsoever from your office in the time between 24 January and 30 May and the two letters I did receive did not say anything about requiring a response within a 30 day window until after that window had passed.

I would like to submit an appeal on the grounds that I have received no communication regarding this filing or acknowledgement of the deficiencies I highlighted with the rejection notice.
