This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:
Any and all CPSC Inspector General reports into the agency's handling of the Magnetix recall (#07-164), or agency practices as a result of the Chicago Tribune investigative series about the Magnetix recall.
I also request that all fees be waived as I am a journalist -- employed by MuckRock and the Boston Globe -- and intend to use any pertinent information i receive as a result of this request to educate the public.
In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

Our records indicate that you have submitted a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) in the past. 4. Upload documentation, such as a Request Description, Fee Waiver Request or a Request for Expedited Processing;
