This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:
Copies of all applications since 2010 from the New York Police Department, Los Angeles Police Department, and Boston Police Department to send officers abroad as part of the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs' programs.
-All contracts, memorandums of understanding/agreement, or comparable documents since 2010 with the New York City Police Department, Los Angeles Police Department, and Boston Police Department as part of the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs' programs.
I also request that all fees be waived as I am a journalist -- employed by the Boston Globe and MuckRock -- and intend to use the requested documents to educate the public through my reporting on police training and cooperation.
I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.
