In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

Hi Matthew,

A search was conducted and responsive documents were located. However, this and several others of yours await attorney review. We have a backlog of complex cases waiting for our two FOIA attorneys (including myself) to review and redact.

All things being equal, we try to process complex requests in the order in which they were received. Your oldest case is now 2020-2830 (JLC Forum remand). I am working on that today and will have another partial out to you soon.

Anything you can do to narrow or clarify your requests is helpful to us in working down the backlog. Reviewing and redacting voluminous e-mails is especially time consuming and results in delays for other requests awaiting attorney review.

Thank you for your patience.
