This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:
Any details you are able to share about the investigation into IBM revenue recognition. IBM disclosed this investigation in their 10Q filed 10/27/15. Quoted below:
"In August 2015, IBM learned that the SEC is conducting an investigation relating to revenue recognition with respect to the accounting treatment of certain transactions in the U.S., U.K. and Ireland. The company is cooperating with the SEC in this matter." (Page 45)
In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available.
