Any and all records, memoranda, and communications, including emails, to and from senior officials of the Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) which were involved in the decision to implement the
Temporary General License extension to Huawei and "its non-U.S. affiliates which are subject to the Entity List" (referenced here: https://www.commerce.gov/news/press-releases/2019/11/us-department-commerce-extends-huawei-temporary-general-license).
Please limit your search to records from 08/21/2019 to 11/18/2019.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
