Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

Harry Carlisle ( born around 9/23/1897) in The United Kingdom had INS deportation hearing from 1951-1955 for being a communist alien. I seek and records relating to the disposition of this case, his membership in the Communist Party in California, hiss detention as one of the so called Terminal Island Four 1951-1955, his investigation by HUAC hearings on communist influence in the motion pulicture agency.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

I am requesting you send any alien files or detention records (Terminal Island Federal Detention Center, San Pedro, CA) regarding Harry Carlisle who was arrested by the INS in June of 1950 and had a series of Federal INS deportation hearing from then until 1962 when he was deported from the United States. USCIS said they lost my previous request and this is the new one they requested.
