Records relating to George Sergius de Mohrenschildt (Георгий Сергеевич де Мореншильд; April 17, 1911 – March 29, 1977), who was a petroleum geologist and professor who befriended Lee Harvey Oswald in the summer of 1962 and maintained that friendship until Oswald's death, two days after the assassination of US President John F. Kennedy.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

An interim response, stating the request is being processed.
A no responsive documents response.
In addition to the CRS search, I am requesting a cross-reference search and an ELSUR search.
I am appealing the integrity of the search, as the records have been known to exist since then, are listed in the FBI's RIDS index as existing, and have been released. While some records may have been destroyed in 1971, thousands of pages were not. Their existence is well documented.
