Mr. Tobias,
While going through my FOIAOnline caseload, I discovered a communication by you dated December 27, 2021.  Your communication is seeking the status of your FOIA request DOI-FWS-2021-002742 and 21-003490.  Please know that there is no notification of communication entered into FOIAOnline by a requester after submission of the request. In fact, Dashboard communication submitted by a requester is documented as communication “from” the requester “to” the requester, with FWS receiving no notification of such communication.   In the future, please use either the FWS email FWHQ_FOIA@fws.gov or the FOIA Coordinator’s email assigned to your FOIA request. (mailto:FWHQ_FOIA@fws.gov)
As for the status of your case, I will be reviewing the last of the responsive documents and will get the response letter drafted for review. I am hoping to get everything done within the next few weeks.
Thank you for your patience during this time of transition. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions at the email above.
Sincerely,
Dori Abernathy, HQ ES FOIA Coordinator
