FY2013 FOIA Log (United States Secret Service)

To Whom It May Concern:

This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:

A log of all FOIA requests made in fiscal year 2013.

I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as I believe this request is in the public interest. The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, processed by a representative of the news media/press and is made in the process of news gathering and not for commercial usage.

In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

Thank you for responding to my FOIA request. I am writing to clarify my request as it seems there must have been some misunderstanding. Please note that I am an individual making this request without any commercial interest. I am a user of the investigative tools website MuckRock, which provides journalism tools. I am a private individual using this web platform to help me track my foia requests, similar to the way you certain track things in either excel or a database program yourself. I have made FOIA requests in various capacities over time, some news media requests and others as a individual "all other" requester. This particular request is in my individual capacity as a private citizen and should also be considered in the "all other" fee category.

Again, I will not be selling this information. Nobody is paying me to obtain this information. I am asking for it without any commercial interest whatsoever.

Please let me know if you will be processing this request in the "all other" fee category considering that I have cleared up the misunderstanding.
