This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:
A log of all FOIA requests made in fiscal year 2013.
I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as I believe this request is in the public interest. The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, processed by a representative of the news media/press and is made in the process of news gathering and not for commercial usage.
In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

Hello and good evening. I'm LT Byron Nakamura and I help administer the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) program here at Navy Installations Command. Attached is in response to your request for our Command's fiscal year 2013 FOIA log.
Please note, we have received only one formal request from Muckrock in the mail from US Special Operations Command which we then forwarded to US Southern Command. We have also forwarded Muckrock's later email inquiries to CNIC regarding the other requests originally sent to US Special Operations Command to US Southern Command for a direct response.
I gather the three requests from Muckrock are as follows (Numbered by US Special Operations Command):
111 - A digital copy of the GTMO Inmate Library Catalogue of Books.
112 - Copy of guidelines for selecting books to be added to the GTMO inmate library. (Ltr received by CNIC and provided tracking number 13-66)
113 - Copy of guidelines for accepting donations of books for GTMO inmates.
