All correspondence, including written, email and electronic communication, between CDC director Thomas Frieden and Dr. Andrew Kolodny and/or Dr. Jane Ballantyne from June 8, 2009 to January 20, 2017.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

Thank you for your prompt reply to my FOIA request (#17-00547-FOIA). In an effort to make my request less complex, I would like to amend and narrow its scope to the following:
All correspondence, including written and email communication, between CDC director Thomas Frieden and Dr. Andrew Kolodny from January 1, 2014 to January 20, 2017.
As a member of the news media, I request a waiver of all fees, as the requested information is in the public interest and will not be used for any commercial purpose. I have been reporting on issues involving Dr. Frieden and Dr. Kolodny for some time now, and this particular request will contribute significantly to public understanding of the operations and activities of the CDC.
