To Whom It May Concern:
This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:
All restaurant inspection data for restaurants located in the city of San Carlos, CA.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.
We are in receipt of and have reviewed your FOIA request. Please be advised that our agency does not conduct restaurant inspections and would therefore not have responsive records. Generally the responsibility for these inspections resides with the local and county public health departments. For your convenience we had included the weblink for the San Mateo County Health System, of which the city of San Carlos resides.
With this reply there will be no further processing of your request and it will be closed. Should you have any questions regarding this reply I can be reached at 301/851-4086.
