Sir,

USCENTCOM is unable to provide any type of format other than PDF.
This is a measure that prevents documents from being altered.

Could you ensure the pdf is of good quality and ocr’ed? I have received imaged PDFs before with low quality scanning and it is extremely labor intensive to extract the information. Converting to text via python produced so many errors that it would take me months of manually comparing the data.

Also, please consider providing both a pdf and csv. It appears in previous responses the data is in a tabular format already. There is absolutely no incentive for me to alter the data in any way, shape or form. I am just trying to tell the veterans story overseas, that is all. In your response, you could write, “the pdf reflects the official information and is certified, but we have provided the attached csv/xlsx as a courtesy.”

I understand the concern and appreciate any help with this.
