This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:
I am a member of the news media and I am looking for information about a possible FBI investigation related to the following lawsuit, which was dismissed earlier this year by a District of Columbia federal judge:
Terry Aston, et al. v. Johnson & Johnson, et al., No. 16-86, D. D.C., 2017 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 49229
The plaintiffs alleged that the defendants, which included former FDA Commissioner Margaret Hamburg, Renaissance Technologies LLC and Johnson & Johnson conspired to “reap large financial returns by failing to disclose to Plaintiffs and the public at large the full extent of the devastating, life-threatening, and deadly effects of a highly dangerous drug named Levaquin.”
I am seeking any documents related to an FBI investigation into these issues. Thank you.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
