From:

Dear Lipton Beryl ,
Our records indicate that you have submitted a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) in the past. We are writing to inform you that CPSC is about to launch e-FOIA Public Access Link (PAL), an online portal that will allow a FOIA requester to:

1. Submit a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request online;
2. Check the status of an existing request;
3. E-Mail the Government Information Specialist assigned to your request
4. Upload documentation, such as a Request Description, Fee Waiver Request or a Request for Expedited Processing;
5. Download the material deemed responsive to your request along with the correspondence for your request; and
6. Submit an appeal
We anticipate launching e-FOIA PAL in June 2017, so keep checking the FOIA page on the CPSC website ( http://www.cpsc.gov/en/NewsRoom/FOIA/Make-a-FOIA-Request) for the portal's arrival. (http://www.cpsc.gov/en/NewsRoom/FOIA/Make-a-FOIA-Request) Registration Required
You register to experience the benefits of e-FOIA PAL's capabilities. We ask that you use a valid must e-mail address as your User ID. Further information is available on the e-FOIA PAL site.
Click on the link to access the e-FOIA PAL site:
http://www.cpsc.gov/pal/palMain.aspx (http://www.cpsc.gov/pal/palMain.aspx) Certified Records
You can submit a FOIA request for certified records, check the status of the FOIA request and communicate with the Government Information Specialist assigned to the request via e-FOIA PAL.
Because certified records must bear a raised seal that is physically applied by
the Agency Secretariat, certified records will continue to be sent to FOIA requesters
via postal mail and not electronically. Additional Ways to Submit FOIA Requests and to Communicate with FOIA Staff
If you elect not to utilize e-FOIA PAL, you may continue to submit your request by postal mail, by fax to 301-504-0127 or by e-mail addressed to cpsc-foia@cpsc.gov . Please include your name, a telephone number, e-mail address and a postal mailing address in your inquiry or FOIA request. You may contact the FOIA Requester Service Center or a FOIA Public Liaison staff member for assistance. (mailto:cpsc-foia@cpsc.gov)
You can obtain more information on the FOIA Request Service Center and the Public Liaisons web page. (http://www.cpsc.gov/Newsroom/FOIA/FOIA-Requester-Service-Center-and-FOIA-Public-Liaisons--Check-Status-of-a-FOIA-Request/)
