A copy of all communications, memos, environmental impact reports, and plans or proposals regarding the storage and disposal of nuclear wast eat the Yucca Mountain Nuclear Waste Repository from 2014-2019.
I would also like a copy of all communications and documents regarding the plan to store nuclear waste at the Skull Valley Gushote Indian Reservation from 1992-2006. Please be sure to include any communications sent to or from employees/representatives of Private Fuel Storage, LLC in your search. In addition, if there are any responsive documents from files retained from the now-defunct Office of the United States Nuclear Waste Negotiator,
I request that I be properly classified as a news media requester. I am an intern for MuckRock, and I am requesting this information in that editorial capacity. MuckRock is widely known for its investigative work as well as historical pieces based on public records requests.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

As discussed, you agreed to accept two sets of previously-released documents in lieu of your original request in regards to item #1 concerning Yucca Mountain. The first set will range between the years of 2008-2012. I hope to get this to you shortly.
Another set of documents (already in processing) from the past year will also be provided to you upon their release, once they are released to the original requester.
Please note, while receiving the documents, you will not receive appeal rights to any redactions that may be present.
Additionally, DOE will continue processing parts 2 and 3 of your request concerning the Skull Valley Gushote Indian Reservation and the Office of the United States Nuclear Waste Negotiator. We hope to have a response to you soon.
