Dear Requester,

We (again) have received several faxes from you seeking status on your FOIA requests. We cannot provide you with a status update if you don't provide your control number. Please resubmit your status updates (email is fine) with your control numbers. If these fax update requests are set on some kind of auto-send, I suggest you stop them and/or amend them to include your control numbers.

Sincerely,

Sarah B. Kotler, JD

Hi Sara,

I have not yet received a control number for my request concerning correspondence between the FDA and a company called Ambrosia LLC. Do you know when I can expect to receive one?

Thanks,
J.K. Trotter

We log all requests within 10 days of receipt. Acknowledgement letters (which include the control number) issue the day following logging. If you haven't gotten a control number, it likely means we never received your request. I suggest you use our online submission form in the future, so that you will receive immediate confirmation of submission. See https://www.accessdata.fda.gov/scripts/foi/FOIRequest/index.cfm.

Sarah

Since it seems we never got this the first time, do you want us to log it now?
