To Whom It May Concern:
This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act.
I am seeking all communications, inclusive of emails, records of meetings, meeting notes, memorandums, interviews, and all other information exchanged, between the law firm of Tauler Smith, LLP and FDA. This request is specifically to include anyone representing them or their direct agents, and including but not limited to any email correspondence with an @taulersmith.com address, and specifically any of the following: Robert Tauler, Matthew J. Smith, Kenny Kupers, Gil Peles, Kevin Valsi, and Valerie Saryan.
This request is for said communications between January 1st, 2015 and October 31st, 2017.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.
We need a subject matter or product you are referring to for the records you are looking for. Are they food records, drug records, device records, etc? We need the subject/product you are referring to.
As soon as we receive your reply, we can begin searching.
It would be MOST helpful if you included a phone no. on your requests so I could contact you with my questions.
This is the last request I have from you that we are still unclear about. What is the subject matter and product that Tauler Smith was involved with? Thank you!
The subject for the Tauler Smith request is dietary supplements, prohormones, research chemicals, peptides (IGF, etc...), anabolic steroids, adulterated dietary supplements, mislabeled/misbranded dietary supplements, and dietary supplement companies.
All FOIA requests and replies that go through MuckRock are posted online (that's kind of our thing) and it's a non-starter for me to reply with my phone number - as it too would end up online.
An acknowledgement letter, stating the request is being processed.
