All reports and memoranda regarding the FBI's Next Generation Identification System (NGI), from Jan. 2012 through the date this request is received.

If some of these records are disclosable and others are exempt, please provide the disclosable records and let me know the exemption(s) preventing disclosure of the

A fix is required to perfect the request. The request has been rejected as being too vague, burdensome or otherwise unprocessable.

From: Sobonya, David P.

Mr. Ciarmella,

On February 07, 2014 you were mailed a letter explaining that FOIPA Request Number 1240335-0 was too vague to process. Please clarify if would like to limit your request for "All reports and memoranda regarding the FBI's Next Generation Identification System (NGI), from Jan. 2012 through the date this request is received" based upon the subject line of your initial request e-mail, "FBI records on facial recognition program." If we do not receive a response, your request will be closed.
