Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
Any records about Hollywood producer Edward Lewis (Born: 12-16-1919, Died: 07-27-2019). Mr. Lewis was a WWII veteran, an Academy Awarded nominated producer, and a fundraiser for the United Farm Workers and for Martin Luther King's 1968 Poor People's Campaign. He was also an associated of a number of blacklisted Hollywood screenwriters, including Dalton Trumbo and John Randolph. A copy of his obituary is attached.

This request is for any and all records about Hollywood producer Edward Lewis from any and all FBI offices, including HQ, field offices (including, specifically, the Los Angeles field office) legal attaches, and facilities that maintain records under the FBI’s control. Please conduct a search for records related to Edward Lewis that might be contained in records about Cesar Chavez, the UFW, Dalton Trumbo, John Randolph or in files related to the 1968 Poor People's Campaign.
In addition, this request also includes any “cross-referenced” records relevant to the inquiry. Along with “ELSUR” (Electronic Surveillance) records for Edward Lewis. These include the names of all people and/or locations for which the agency sought a court order for electronic surveillance.
In addition, this request asks the FBI to search the Sentinel database, the Investigative Data Warehouse, and the Data Integration and Visualization System for relevant documents related to Edward Lewis from the earliest records available until his death in July 2019.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
