This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:
- All communications between the FBI and the White House Executive Office of the President containing "Rob Porter" or "Porter" from Nov. 1, 2017 to Nov. 30, 2017. CBS reported on Feb. 7, 2018 that the FBI informed the White House in November about domestic abuse allegations against Porter, a staff secretary at the White House (https://www.cbsnews.com/amp/news/white-house-rob-porter-resigns-abuse-allegations/). I therefore request any and all such communications.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes. Requester is CJ Ciaramella, a full-time journalist employed at Reason Magazine (https://reason.com/people/cj-ciaramella/all).
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.
