A fix is required to perfect the request. The request has been rejected as being too vague, burdensome or otherwise unprocessable.

From: Lorenzo Franceschi-Bicchierai

Dear Mr. Hardy,

I disagree that my request is not specific enough. I'm not aware of details such as the contract number, but I know there's been one, or more, contracts between the FBI and CICOM USA starting in 2012. It really shouldn't be too hard to find these kind of information.

I suggest you reconsider and try to locate the contract(s).

Thanks!

Lorenzo

The request has been rejected, with the agency stating that it can neither confirm nor deny the existence of the requested documents.

From: Lorenzo Franceschi-Bicchierai

I would like to appeal the rejection of my FOIA request. The DEA has already disclosed a big deal of information on its relationship with Cicom USA (and Hacking Team) by responding to a letter by Sen. Chuck Grassley last stummer (see: https://www.documentcloud.org/documents/2167965-doj-dea-letter-to-sen-grassley-re-hacking-team.html). And the agency has also responded to a similar FOIA request releasing the contract to me (https://motherboard.vice.com/read/dea-contract-with-hacking-team-spyware-foia). I don't see why the FBI's contract with Cicom USA would be exempt when the DEA's wasn't

Please reconsider your decision and respond to my FOIA as soon as possible.
