The request has been rejected, with the agency stating that the information or document(s) requested are exempt from disclosure.

From: William Green

Assistant Administrator for Finance and Management,

I am formally appealing the determination of the FAA in regards to my request 2016-004377.

I challenge the assertion of exemption (b)(7)(e) on the grounds that the details of the U.S. Marshals surveillance flights are already a matter of public record.
See: http://www.wsj.com/articles/americans-cellphones-targeted-in-secret-u-s-spy-program-1415917533
No previously unknown law enforcement techniques or practices of the U.S. Marshals will be revealed by disclosing the FAA's role in the already publicized flights.

Thank you,
William Green
